Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) is a serious occupational health concern for businesses that use powered equipment, including grinders, drills and other vibrating tools. If the risk of exposure isn’t properly monitored, workers can develop HAVS, which in the UK is a recognised, reportable industrial injury covered by Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
