Not only do we strive to maintain our position as the UK's largest independent hire company, we also aspire to be the most innovative hire solutions provider. As such, GAP made the positive and progressive decision to reduce our environmental footprint and incorporate environmental measures into our business strategies. 

This has continued apace with the development and introduction of industry leading 'green' products such as electric powered plant, the zero carbon emission welfare units and carbon emission measuring telematics and reporting. 

Looking to the future, GAP will continue to develop our advanced sustainability framework with a focus on sustainable operations, people and wellbeing, and eco-friendly innovations. 

Social 

Social responsibility isn't just integrated into GAP's overall corporate strategy, it is at the very heart of everything we do. Corporate Social Responsibility has been embedded into our workforce and is evident through our values, company mission and vision.

We are committed to helping our people and the wider community reach their maximum potential by offering support in a number of ways. A few of the ways we do this includes our Employee Volunteering Scheme, Training and Development opportunities, GAP Giving, Youth Sponsorships, Apprenticeship Programmes and more.

Since our inception in 1969, GAP has been committed to the highest standards, and operates our business under several internationally recognised management standards covering quality, environment and health and safety. 

Unique to the hire industry, GAP has trained all of our employees on our GAP CODE - a set of values we seek to embody all that we do. Consisting of Communication, One Team, Dedication and Efficiency, the CODE promotes the positive attitude that all our committed and talented staff bring to GAP.
