As the search head nears reinforcement bars, an LED indicator glows, an audible signal increases in pitch, and the signal strength bar on the display grows, ensuring precise detection. When the rebar is directly beneath the center of the search head, the pitch reaches its highest point, and the depth of cover is displayed. If the rebar is too deep to measure, an infinite depth reading is shown.
