October’s Noteworthy Contributions
For October, we continued our company-wide initiative to allocate approximately 0.5% of our profits to 14 deserving charities chosen by our GAP employees. This month's selections have left a lasting impact on both our team and the recipients.
Staff-Driven Fundraising
In the spirit of giving, numerous GAP employees rolled up their sleeves and engaged in passionate fundraising activities. Their efforts were dedicated to supporting Diabetes UK, Cancer Research UK, and NSPCC. To amplify their impact, GAP stepped in through our GAP Match initiative to match their fundraising efforts.
Donations that make a Difference
Donations have been made this month to various charities, close to the hearts of our workforce. Our donations reached organisations such as Suicide Prevention UK, Lighthouse Club Charity, The Royal Marden Cancer Charity, Battersea Cat and Dog Home, Hillhouse, Royal British Legion, Alzheimer Scotland, St Margaret’s Centre, and Movember.
Charity of the Month Selections
This month’s Charity of the Month was chosen by our Lifting North and Marketing Teams. They proudly selected Macmillan Cancer Support and Erskine Hospital, respectively, embodying the spirit of compassion and empathy.
Making a Positive Impact
At GAP Giving, we understand the importance of our contributions, and the heart-warming feedback we receive from the charities we support fuels our dedication.
Zoe’s Place provided invaluable feedback: “Your support is invaluable to us and your donation of £1,000 will enable us to provide 24 hours of care to one child!”.
