November’s Noteworthy Contributions
A grand total of 11 charities were selected to receive GAP Giving contributions for November and December. The charities chosen have touched GAP employees lives in one way or another.
Employee-Led Fundraising
GAP employees took part in a number of different fundraising activities over the month of November, raising money for Beatson Cancer Charity, Chris’ House and Sands. The amounts raised were matched by GAP through the GAP Match Initiative.
Contributions Creating Impact
GAP demonstrated its commitment to making a difference by extending support to charities that matter deeply to our employees. Alzheimer Scotland, Children in Need, Bowel Cancer UK, British Red Cross and Save the Children were the recipients for November.
Charity of the Month Selections
Highlighting the diversity of our charitable efforts, our teams in the Midlands, Finance, Pumps, Regional Sales South West and North East chose their respective Charities of the Month. These were The Children’s Family Trust, Simba, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Prostate Cymru and Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support respectively.
Making a Positive Impact
Through GAP Giving we understand the importance of our contributions and the impact these can have on the charities. Each donation, big or small, contributes to fostering positive change in the lives of those who need it most.
